Giuseppe Canale
The agency was founded in 2019 by Giuseppe Canale, a former professional dancer with nearly two decades of experience performing worldwide.
His broad career has offered him firsthand knowledge of the dance industry in different countries, allowing him to foster connections with renowned artists and prestigious organizations.
As the first international dance agency specialized in both ballet and contemporary dance, GCDANCEVENTS offers a wide range of services that together build a strong network of connections across the global dance community.
The founder
Giuseppe Canale started his dance studies in Pozzuoli (Italy) at Art Garage, directed by Emma Cianchi, and then completed his training first at the Hochschüle für Musik und Theater (Munich, Germany) and then at the Palucca Hochschüle für Tanz (Dresden, Germany).
He began his professional career in 2012, at the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre (Ostrava, Czech Republic), where he had the chance to work with world-famous choreographers such as Jiří Kylián.
Later in 2013 he joined the National Opera and Ballet of Bulgaria (Sofia, Bulgaria), where he performed most of the classical repertoire choreographed by Yuri Grigorovich.
After two years, he moved to Tel Aviv and started working with the Israel Ballet, which allowed him to tour nationally, performing both classical and contemporary pieces.
In 2016, he joined the West Australian Ballet (Perth, Australia), where he had the opportunity to collaborate with world-known choreographers such as Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, Krzysztof Pastor, David Nixon, Eric Gauthier, and many others.
From 2019 to 2023, Giuseppe worked with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal (Montreal, Canada), performing works by international choreographers under the direction of Ivan Cavallari.
Ever since I was a kid, I have always loved everything that comes with organizing. Over the years, and through my experiences in the dance world, I gradually began helping friends and colleagues organize events and connect with dance communities worldwide. I realized that I could offer my organizational skills and artistic connections I have built over the years to those seeking professionalism and success.
